Training Times

We swim at the North Sydney Olympic Pool four times a week. Our
training times are:

Monday: 7pm – 8pm
Wednesday: 7pm – 8pm
Saturday: 10:30am – Midday – Bring your kick board, fins and pool buoy.
Sunday: 10:30am – Midday (during winter, up to September 25th)
11am – Midday (during summer, from October 2nd)
Bring a kick board, fins and pool buoy on Sundays.

The Wednesday and Sunday sessions are often followed by a drink and a bite at a local pub or restaurant determined by most popular choice on the day. Common spots are The Union in North Sydney, The Commodore in Lavendar Bay and Peppermill Cafe at Milson’s Point. Just ask around to folks on deck to see where the chosen destination is!

Coaching

We currently have 3 coaches at North Sydney Masters. Head Coach Steve Badger coaches Lanes 2 & 3 on Monday’s & Wednesday’s, while Hiro Homma takes Lane 1. On Saturday’s & Sunday’s, Alan Godfrey coaches all 3 lanes. Saturday’s tend to be the sessions most focused on technique and drills while all other sessions are mostly about fitness. If the coaching schedule changes, one of the coaches will usually send an email out to the club to notify everyone of the change.
