Training Times

We swim at the Lane Cove Aquatic Centre twice a week and at Manly pool on the weekend.

Members can choose how many sessions each week they would like to do.

Our training times are:

Day Time
Monday 7.30pm – 8.30pm Lane Cove
Wednesday 7.30pm – 8.30pm Lane Cove
Sunday 9.00 – 10.30am Manly Pool – Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton Swim Centre
Bring a snorkel, kick board, fins and pull buoy for all sessions.

The Wednesday sessions are often followed by a drink and a bite at a local pub such as the Longueville Hotel in Lane Cove or restaurant determined by most popular choice on the day.  Just ask around to folks on deck to see where the chosen destination is!


We currently have a roster of regular coaches at North Sydney Masters. Coach Joe takes the Monday sessions and Wednesday & Sundays are spread between Coaches Mark, Alvin, Manel, Faye and Colin!  Sessions are varied and focus on both fitness as well as skills – including racing skills. If the coaching or training schedule changes, one of the coaches will usually send an email out to the club to notify everyone of the change.
