We live in a world of uncertainty at the moment and the committee and coaching team have been hard at work to find pool time and solutions that will help our squad come back together at the pool. We appreciate your patience as we work through the process.
As you know, the North Sydney Olympic Pool has continued to operate under restrictions that do not allow us to go back to the pool as a squad and is due to close in November for a 2 year redevelopment. To that end, we have been investigating alternate venues.
For the month of September, we are pleased to announce the following schedule:
- Sundays: 6, 13, 20, 27, October 4
- Time: 9:30-11am
- Location: Manly ABC Pool –50m outdoor pool – 2 lanes (There is a small, busy parking lot and also parking to be found in nearby streets.)
- Admission payable at the door and check-in required with front desk.
- Coaches: Rotating roster Alvin/Michaela/Mark
- Thursdays: 10, 17, 24, October 1
- Time: 5:45-6:45pm
- Location: Victoria Park 50m outdoor pool – 2 lanes (there is a small parking lot and also parking to be found in nearby streets)
- Admission payable at the door and check-in required with front desk.

In times of uncertainty, your flexibility to new times and locations is much appreciated. We will be gauging interest and suitability of these times and locations in September while we strive to secure lane space at Lane Cove 50m outdoor pool when it opens. In late September, we will publish an October schedule knowing that at any time, the schedule is subject to change due to COVID-19 restrictions.
In order to secure lane space at any pool, the club has had to put together a COVID plan outlining our new check-in procedure, distancing and hygiene protocols. Please take a few moments to read this prior to attending your first squad as the COVID-19 ‘normal’ looks different than the old normal. Click here to read.
Coaches will also be taking time to brief you on deck before you jump into the pool for your first squad. In addition to checking in at the front desk of each pool, you will also need to complete a quick online check-in for every squad you attend. A link for that is below. We will post this link on the website, FB members page, and it will be available via QR code on deck. Please note, that at this time, only paid members of North Sydney Swim club are able to participate in squads for track & trace purposes.
